There are trails to meander and trees to meet. Your host Is an environmental educator with training in Sylvotherapy. Our goal is to share the beauty of nature’s bounty and help people reconnect. As a certified advanced sommelier, your host can share native knowledge of flora/fauna and wine!

Location
GPS or a Sarasota County Almanac will get you here. Take Sumter Blvd from I75 East. Sumter meets Tropicaire at a stop sign. Turn left on Tropicaire. Turn right on Reistertown. Breathe and slow down-speed limit is 30 and you are entering a bird sanctuary. Everything on your right is Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park. Follow the road left. 2.4 miles The Myakkahatchee creek is on your right. On the left is a log cabin mailbox and a sign for “Bears Den Ranch” set back on the right of the driveway. Pease provide an ETA and keep the host informed as you will be met by the host as you pull in. Try not to arrive after dark. It simply makes orientation more difficult and this is rural.
